My Passion & Story

I am a Trinity College Graduate with a degree in Business and French.  I enjoy travelling and would love to return to France and improve my language skills. I currently volunteer with Phoenix FM as a Radio Operator. I work on the sound desk and enjoy being involved in this side of the music industry.

Working as a Radio Operator provides experience in a working environment and expands my knowledge, skills, and creative side.

I am passionate about music and would love to marry this with the marketing skills I learned at Trinity. My ideal job would be a marketing position in the music industry.  I’d like to be in a job and be able to reach those same heights as someone who is Neurotypical would. I don’t want to put any ceilings on what is possible for me.

I am enthusiastic about diversity and inclusion. My dream is to see a society that provides a living wage and affordable housing for everyone. I’d love to see the breaking down of barriers. A lot of the time people are working on assumptions about groups like us. I want to see people with experiences like us going into the Dáil or the Seanad to stand up for groups like us. We can advocate for ourselves and we can say what it is that we want and how to get them.

I have been described as a driven and determined person. I do persevere even when things get tough. Completing my degree during Covid was not without it’s challenges but I pushed through, I am glad I didn’t give up because now I have feel I have achieved quite a lot and that experience made me stronger.

My message to others is to just go for it. Do not right things off until you have tried them. At first things can be daunting but often things are not as difficult as they seem and when you get through them it builds character.
